Holocaust Memorial Day Tuesday 27 Jan 2026

I am working again with the National Literacy Trust with KS2 and KS3 resources to mark Holocaust Memorial Day in 2026.

This year the 5 part read aloud story I am writing is based on the real wartime journal of a girl called Inga from her life first in Vienna, Austria 1937-39 and then in Falmouth, Cornwall 1939-1944.

The resources include …

  • a virtual event joined by Auschwitz Survivors with the National Literacy Trust and Holocaust Memorial Day Trust
  • A 5 part story to read aloud
  • A writing challenge
  • For Key Stage 2 & 3
